About

StillNormal is a site of psychological quizzes that leave you feeling lighter.

People come to quizzes like these with the same question: “Am I okay?” We answer it honestly. A quiz measures what it says it measures, and the result explains why the mind does what it does: without blame, without labels, without diagnoses. A result is not a life sentence. It describes where you are right now.

Who is behind the quizzes

The quizzes are written by Maryna Lyadneva, a practicing psychologist with a master’s degree in psychology. The approach and the voice of the site are hers: to speak calmly and seriously, to take the guilt off, to explain in plain language and to leave one small step you can take today.

What the quizzes are built on

Every quiz is built on published scales and research. Under each quiz you will find the methodology, the sources and answers to common questions: where the questions come from, what the scale measures and where its limits lie.

What the quizzes don’t do

A quiz is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for talking to a professional. If a result points to a serious condition, we say plainly who to turn to.

What happens to your answers

Your answers are not stored on the server. The site only counts how many times each result has come up, with no name, IP address or time attached. There is no sign-up, and we don’t ask for your email.

We are looking for a reviewer

We need a psychologist or psychotherapist with relevant training and verifiable credentials: a Google Scholar or ORCID profile, published research or a license to practice. Any one of these is enough. The job is to check the quizzes, including the methodology, the questions and the result texts, and to tell us where we got something wrong. In return, the reviewer’s name appears on every psychological quiz on the site, along with a StillNormal page of their own, with a biography and links to their projects. You can write to us at support@stillnormal.com.
